Why We Do It

At some point in each of our lives we have been encountered by Jesus Christ who made us know that He loves us with a life transforming love. So much love that, in spite of our personal sin, disobedience to God's Law and brokenness, He chose to come to earth in human form and show us how to live, then paid the price for our sin by dying in our place. He rose from the grave on the third day and lives today.

The incredible fact is that when we trusted in Him, He sent His Holy Spirit to indwell us and we have the privilege of experiencing His presence with us every day.

Because He first loved us we love Him. That is why we worship Him and serve Him by sharing the Good News with others that they too can know Him personally!

“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades[c] will not overcome it.  I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”- Mathew 16:13-20

Our Churches exist to help us grow in our ability to fulfill this Calling. Our Association of Churches exists as a network designed to strengthen and multiply churches so that they can better accomplish the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”Mathew 28:18-20

We are better together. That is why our churches cooperate, collaborate and partner with one another. Unified in our Calling to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Jesus Christ
